1. Inform the coach/team manager that you wish to become a member.

The team manager is responsible for registering you in the correct team within the club in both Spond and MinIdrett. If you have any practical questions, contact the team manager.

If you have played for another club before, we need to process a transfer. You can find the details of this process here

2. Sign up on MinIdrett and Spond.

MinIdrett:

If you or your child have participated in sports before, an account already exists. If you haven’t logged in before, click “Forgot password.”

  1. Log in or create an account on MinIdrett.

  2. Click on medlemskap.

  3. Click "finn ny klubb" and search for “Ålesund Innebandyklubb.”

  4. Select the club and click "send søknad".

Note: The logged-in user is the one the membership application is for. If you are registering your child, they must be logged in, but with parental contact details. The applicant’s name and birthdate must be correctly registered.

Spond:

Download the Spond app or register via the website spond.com. Create a profile and search for "Ålesund Hurricanes." The team manager will add you to the correct subgroup, where you can view training sessions and matches for your team.

3. Pay membership and licenses:

To be a member of Ålesund Innebandyklubb, you need to pay a membership fee and training fee. Additionally, there is a license fee that includes insurance, which is required to play in league matches.

*See a full overview at https://bandyforbundet.no/innebandy/?page_id=3814 (eks. andre lisenser, utvidet forsikring, engangslisenser, lisensdetaljer etc.)

Note: For new registrations, the membership fee and training fee will be invoiced continuously if the registration is made at least two months before the end of a season.

Membership fee - what is it?

This is a general fee to be part of the club. It must be paid to participate in club activities. You become a member once your first fee is paid. The amount is determined at the club’s annual meeting. Parents are encouraged to become support members as well.

Training fee - what is it?

This fee covers costs related to practicing the sport, such as hall rentals, coaches, referees, courses, and equipment.

Active referees in the club who have officiated at least 2 registered matches under the Norwegian Floorball Federation in the previous season do not pay the training fee for the upcoming season. The referees are responsible for informing the board about this.

License - what is it?

The license fee must be paid to the federation before you can compete. It includes insurance covering potential sports injuries.

To play in league matches, a license is mandatory. A player without a license cannot participate in official games. A club that fields an unlicensed player may lose points and matches.

Players without a license are uninsured. A paid license ensures insurance coverage for training and matches throughout the license period (September 1 – August 31).

Ålesund Innebandyklubb strongly recommends that all players pay for a license to ensure coverage during both training sessions and matches.

How do i cancel my membership?

Resignation is done via MinIdrett. Log in and go to "My Page", then select "Membership". Under active memberships, find "Ålesund Innebandyklubb", click on the three dots on the right, and choose "Cancel membership".

You must remember to leave the Spond group yourself.
